Welcome to Lincoln Heights Rosenwald School, we're glad you came to visit! We are here to provide you with a history of Rosenwald Schools and the Lincoln Heights Rosenwald School located in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. As the Lincoln Heights Recreation Corporation, we seek to help our local community by providing a platform to share and explore the stories and memories of Lincoln Heights. Our building now serves as a community center providing space for a variety of activities. If you have stories, memories, or photographs of your (or a relative's) time at Lincoln Heights, we would love to hear from you so that we can continue to expand this collection! Please feel free to explore this site and learn more about Lincoln Heights!

Thanks to the NEH Common Heritage fund, we held a successful digitization day and public event on September 2, 2017. Read more about it here and browse the resulting collection on Appalachian State Library's Special Collections pages. Belk Library also holds Elizabeth Ann Parks Grinton's papers, and a student worker put together an exhibit that can be viewed here.
